CSC Box Office Staff
POSITION TITLE: CSC Box Office Associate
DEPARTMENT: Box Office
CLASSIFICATION: As needed, hourly.
REPORTS TO: Theatre Office Manager and/or General Manager
LOCATION: On-site, Lackland Center 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, NJ 07840
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Centenary Stage Company, a not-for-profit professional theater company in residency on the campus of Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking Box Office Associates for the 2023/24 Season. This part-time position’s primary responsibility will be to assist patrons with ticket purchasing needs, as well as maintain the daily operating procedures of the CSC box office under the supervision of the Theatre Office Manager and the General Manager. Additional responsibilities may include assisting and supporting theatre office staff with various other administrative initiatives and duties.
Centenary Stage Company is seeking individuals with a preferable background in customer service. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Previous experience and/or interest in the performing arts is a plus. Experience with Theatre Manager is a plus, but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. Various daytime, evening, and weekend hours are required.
The position is hourly part-time with a maximum of 20 hours per week at a rate of $15.00 per hour. Qualified candidates should submit cover letter, resume, and (3) references to:

Technical Staff Centenary University Theatre Department/CSC
POSITION TITLE: Assistant Technical Director
DEPARTMENT: Technical
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, 12 month position
REPORTS TO: Technical Director and/or Artistic Director
LOCATION: On-site, Lackland Center 715 Grand Ave. Hackettstown, NJ 07840
POSITION SUMMARY:
Centenary University, located approximately 50 miles west of NYC is seeking an individual to assist the technical director for the theatre program at Centenary University. This includes, assisting with the Centenary Stage Company, the professional theatre in residence at the University. The position oversees audio and visual equipment for University events throughout the Centenary campus. Responsible for coordinating all outside events from various offices within the university. Supervises the scene shop and all theatre and work study students. Coordinates with other Centenary University offices to ensure smooth running of all events. Handles all technical requests (lighting and sound) from all faculty and staff. The successful candidate will have some scenic experience or experience with lighting and sound.
