The Wizard's Garden and Other Dance Stories from Around the World -- A lively and vibrant dance performance centered around folktales from China, Sweden, Majorca and Brazil. Students are exposed to literary narrative structures physicalized in performance by the acclaimed professional dancers of Nimbus Dance Works.  Complete with narration, colorful costumes, full lighting, these performances provide a wonderful introduction to dance for young audience members!  The connection between dance and literacy is illuminated while students are introduced to the traditions of distinct world cultures through choreographed presentations of popular folktales. This engaging presentation is followed by exciting and unforgettable audience engagement and participation.
