Middle - aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd, trades his soul to the Devil, also known as Mr. Applegate, for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. Light, fast - paced and devilishly clever, Damn Yankees is a homerun hit, featuring all - American subject matter and an irreverent sense of humor.  Damn Yankees is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International.

South Pacific is set in an island paradise during World War II, two parallel love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. South Pacific is set to memorable songs such as "I'm Gonna Wash that Man Right Outa my Hair" and "Some Enchanted Evening". South Pacific is presented through special arrangements with R & H Theatricals.

 


Charlotte's Web Musical

Based on the book by E.B. White
Adapted by Joseph Robinette
Music and lyrics by Charles Strouse

Charlotte's Web is the story of Wilbur the pig and his friendship with Fern Arable, the little girl who adopts him, and his barnyard friends but most importantly, Charlotte, the spider whose act of love saves Wilbur's life. Charlotte's Web is presented in special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company.

Program Director

YPW has been led by Broadway, film and television veteran, Michael Blevins, for 20 years and is dedicated to the enrichment of young lives through experience in the theatre arts, and serves as a venue for cultivating young performers between the ages of 8 and 18. The program is one of only a handful in the nation that offers both formal training and production experience for young people.
