November 24 - December 10

Centenary Stage Company's production of Disney's NEWSIES The Musical

Music by Alan Menken
Lyrics by Jack Feldman
Book by Harvey Fierstein

Based on the Disney Film written by Bob Tzudiker and Noni White.

The 2012 Tony - Award winning musical makes its way onto the Centenary Stage!  It is New York City 1899 and Jack Kelly and his ragtag of newsboys make a meager living selling newspapers on the city streets.  But when the prices of "papes" are hiked and the newsies are hung out to dry, there is nothing left to do but "open the gates and seize the day"!

What is a relaxed Performance?
A relaxed performance is intended specifically to be sensitive to and accepting of audience members who may benefit from a more relaxed environment, including (but not limited to) those with autistic spectrum conditions, anyone with sensory and communication disorders or learning disabilities peoples.  The auditorium lights remain on low throughout the show, loud noises are softened, and audience members are free to leave and re-enter the auditorium at any point.  This means that there is a more casual-than-usual approach to front-of-house etiquette and we ask audience members to be aware of people's needs to move or make involuntary noise.  Access Pricing includes (1) discounted ticket for special needs individuals and (1) discounted ticket for companion.  Contac the CSC Box Office for tickets.  Access Tickets are NOT available online.  Access Pricing: $20 per adult and $12 per child.
