Non-Equity singers/actors for roles in CSC's NEXTstage Repertory 2026 Summer Season (See breakdown).

PREPARATION

Please prepare 16 - 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre selection. Bring clearly marked sheet music in a binder (and/or be prepared with a track, if applicable).  Also, please bring recent headshot and resume stapled together.  If asked to attend dance call please wear dance-appropriate attire and propper footwear.

Robbie Hart

Lead singer of a wedding band. Handsome and charismatic. A truly “nice” guy

Sammy

The bass player in the wedding band and one of Robbie’s best friends.

George

The wedding band’s keyboardist and one of Robbie’s best friends.

Julia Sullivan

Waitress. The pretty “girl next door” in looks and personality.. Empathetic and caring.

Holly

Julia’s cousin, very uninhibited and forward with comedic timing. Based on Madonna of the 80’s.

Glen Guglia

Julia’s fiancé. A Wall Street broker. He is rich, shallow, and materialistic

Gender: Male | Age: 30–50 | Vocal Range: D4–B5

Rosie

Robbie’s grandmother who raised him. Strong comedic timing. Can rap.

Gender: Female | Age: 60–80 | Vocal Range: C4–C5

Linda

Robbie’s fiancé who leaves him at the altar. Keeps Robbie around as a back-up plan. Typical 1980’s Jersey Girl

Other roles include Donatella, Shane McDonough, Ricky (bartender), Bar Regular, and various other featured ensemble roles.
