Set in Britain, Willy Russell's Blood Brothers tells the story of fraternal twins who are separated at birth. One brother is raised in a family of great privilege and one brother is raised in poverty. Even with their different socioeconomic backgrounds, the two boys end up becoming best friends -- until a misunderstanding leads to a tragic end.

A Year with Frog and Toad

Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved children's books, A Year with Frog and Toad is a whimsical musical that tells the story of two best friends: the cheerful Frog, and curmudgeonly Toad. The musical follows Frog and Toad through four colorful seasons, from hibernation to hibernation.

When a die hard theatre fan plays his favorite cast album, the characters come to life in this hilarious musical farce. Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another.

All My Sons

Performances are held in the Lackland Performing Arts Center

Joe Keller, a successful businessman, lives comfortably with his wife, Kate, and son, Chris, in a suburban American neighborhood. They have only one sadness in their lives - the loss of their other son, Larry, who went missing in World War II. After three years, Kate still clings to the hope that her son is alive.

One Act Playhouse

Program Director

YPW has been led by Broadway, film and television veteran, Michael Blevins, for 20 years and is dedicated to the enrichment of young lives through experience in the theatre arts, and serves as a venue for cultivating young performers between the ages of 8 and 18. The program is one of only a handful in the nation that offers both formal training and production experience for young people.
