in January' and 'Jazz in July' returns to the new Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland
Performing Arts Center on the campus of Centenary College. 'Jazz in the Box' takes place in the intimate
Edith Bolte Kutz Theater (Black Box) of the Lackland Center (thus 'Jazz in the Box'). The
concerts feature major Jazz (and Big Band) artists/groups who have established themselves as great players
in the world of jazz. |

Audio Described Performances
We offer our initial outreach mission for Americans with Disabilities - Audio Described Performances, Listening Assistive Devices and special programs to meet the needs of Americans with Disabilities. Audio Described Performance is available the third Sunday of each Professional Equity Play in the series.Listening Assistive devices
We now offer Listening Assistive devices for patrons who are hard of hearing. "Sensory sessions" are also offered in conjunction with audio described performances.Large Print / Braille / Audio-taped Programs

In October 2005, the Centenary Stage Company (CSC) inaugurated its second wave of ACCESS services for patrons with disabilities by offering CSC’s first Open-Captioned Performances of the plays in the season. Open-Captioned Performance is available the third Sunday of each Professional Equity Play in the series.One of several "Access" services offered by CSC to Americans with disabilities, Open Captioning is a general term used to describe text displayed simultaneous to live speech, dialogue or performance, and is designed to assist patrons with hearing loss and disabilities. Also referred to as "OC," it is derived from analogue, closed captioning, which began as text-based access to broadcast programs. The term "caption" is used to define text associated with a picture. Open Captioning does not require the user to have any special equipment for viewing the text and are always "open" to anyone. [More]
Door-to-door Transportation Packages
Starting with the 2010-11 season, we will include new door-to-door Transportation Packages available for groups.

Luncheon Buffet Matinee
Allows you to enjoy a complete luncheon buffet/brunch
followed by a Matinee performance in the dining facilities of the Lackland Center. Available for groups of 20
or more.
"First Sundays Talk Back" ProgramLocal Dining
For patrons venturing into the community for dining, CSC is located within 4 blocks of many of the best restaurants in the region. "Hackettstown has become a veritable culinary mecca!", states General Manager Catherine Rust.
A symposium offered on the first Sunday performance of each Centenary Stage Company (professional play) production. It is open to the public at no charge whether you are attending that particular Sunday performance or not. A spirited discussion and exploration of the work and the issues of the play. Refreshments will be available in the theatre lobby following the show, where attendees may mingle with the cast and staff. Watch the home page for updates (bookmark).

Family Week
This is an annual celebration of National Family Week
at the Theatre (also known as KIDSWEEK; also known as NJ Family
Week) that is normally held in the February/March timeframe.
It brings excitement and energy to the Centenary campus each year,
as well as to theatres throughout the state, with a smorgasbord
of free workshops in music, dance and theatre, backstage tours and
free tickets to performances.
