When a rather demanding mouse in coveralls wearing a backpack shows up in the kitchen of a curious young child, an innocent milk-and-cookie snack time goes from mishap to calamity to catastrophe faster than the twitch of a whisker in the Centenary Stage Company ’s Children’s Theatre Series production of If You Give A Mouse a Cookie, which will be presented in Hackettstown for three special summer performances, on July 13 and 14, 2010 at 10 am and Aug 10, 2010 at 10 am.
Adapted for the stage by Jody Davidson, from a beloved book by Laura Joffee Numeroff, the production of If You Give A Mouse a Cookie marks the first season of the CSC’s Children’s Theatre Sereis, which, in addition to its performances in Hackettstown, has begun touring to regional schools and community groups in its mission to improve and enhance access to cultural events for the students and residents of Northwest New Jersey and beyond.
The production of If You Give A Mouse a Cookie is directed by CSC Artistic Director Carl
Wallnau, and features the actors
Leon Hill (Jersey City, NJ), Nick Ardito (Hackettstown, NJ), Samantha Santana (Stockholm, NJ), Brittany D’Alessio
(Wyckoff, NJ), Rachel Goerss (Hackettstown, NJ) Jon Bodi (Allenwood, NJ). Jackie Mariani (Roselle, NJ) and Megan Corbitt
(Old Bridge, NJ ) are the Production Stage Managers for the program.

Performances
If You Give A Mouse a Cookie will be performed on the Centenary “Little Theatre” stage July
13 and 14, 2010 at 10am and August 10, 2010 at 10am. Tickets for “…Mouse” are $10 for adults
and $8 for children under 12, with special “Summer Camp” discounts for groups and schools.
