Jazz In July SeriesSummer Sizzles at the Little Theatre as the Centenary Stage Company and Performing Arts Guild hosts the 4th annual Jazz in July concert series. All concerts take place on Saturday nights in July starting on July 7th at 8:00 pm in the air-conditioned theatre! Seating is limited.

Women's Jazz Quintet
Five Play is a fabulous Women's Jazz Quintet lead by a Swinging Drummer, Sherrie Maricle and featuring Trumpet, Saxophone, Bass and Piano. Recently back from a Triumphant Tour of Japan where the audiences are still applauding. "The sheer joy and strength of their music will effortlessly bring pleasure", Nat Hentoff Jazz Critic.

17 Piece Big Band
Brian Pastors 17 Piece Jazz Ensemble is comprised of some of Philadelphia's finest musicians. With tight ensemble and solos of great quality this is a Swinging Big Band. "Peter Nero, Conductor of the Philly Pops" says "This is a unique and exciting band."

A Salute to Jimmy featuring 4 Jazz Artists
Salute to Jimmy McGriff, Legendary Jazz and Blues Organist. Jimmy will be honored by Centenary College for his achievement in the World of Jazz with Reuben Wilson on Organ, Jerry Weldon as Tenor Sax, Don Willliams on Drums and Paul Bollenback on Guitar with a guest appearance by Jimmy McGriff.

The Centenary Performing Arts Guild will feature, “Jazz in July”, a four concert series beginning Saturday, July 7th at 8pm in the air conditioned Centenary Theater on the campus of Centenary College in Hackettstown NJ. See Directions. The Centenary Theater, with limited seating, is a perfect venue for small jazz groups, providing the audience with a close up experience both in sound, visibility and intimacy.

Tickets
Jazz In July Tickets are $22.50 per person in advance and $27.50 at the door. The four concert series can also be purchased in advanced for $80. Tickets can be purchased by calling 908-637-6455 or call the box office at 908-979-0900, through our Secure Online Ticketing System (Series not available online except as comment request), or at any of the following locations: WRNJ Radio, Hackettstown Trading Post, Skylands Bank, Valley National Bank, Panther Valley Inn and Hackettstown Carpet.
