The summer will swing in Hackettstown this year as the "Jazz in July" series returns to the Centenary Performing Arts Guild for four consecutive Saturdays, beginning July 16th in The Centenary Theatre. The concerts feature four major jazz artists who have established themselves as great players in the world of jazz.

The featured artists are:

July 16     Legendary guitarist John "Bucky" Pizarelli
July 23     Jerry Harris - one of America’s great male jazz vocalist
July 30     Jazz vocalist , Michele Bautier on vocals with Hod OBrien on
               piano (“the unsung hero of jazz)” - replacing
               Stephanie Nakasian be who will unavailable due to a recent injury
Aug 6       Dick Meldonian and his 17-piece Big Swing Jazz Band
 

Jazz in July at the Centenary Performing Arts Guild is produced in cooperation with Coyne Enterprises and WRNJ Radio, with the generous support of Coldwell Banker and Heath Village.

Hod O’Brien has been hailed as “the unsung hero of jazz,” (L.A. Scene), with a musical style that unfolds with an impressive blend of precision and propulsive swing. Tickets for Jazz in July are $17.50 in advance and $20 at the door, and with a special "Series" price of $65 for all four concerts, and will be available through the Centenary Performing Arts Guild at 908-979-0900, and through our Secure Online Ticketing System. All concerts will be held in the Centenary Theatre, 400 Jefferson Street Hackettstown .

    In advance: $17.50
    Day of show: $20.00
Series of all 4 events: $65
