Swingadelic, the best "little big band" around, formed in 1998 as the neo-swing movement was just gaining momentum. They've played venues up and down the eastern seaboard including Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing, NJPAC, and Allentown, PA's Musikfest and now bring their soulful brand of funky swing to the Centenary Stage on July 7th at 8 p.m.

Cab Calloway Orchestra

The Cab Calloway Orchestra, known for honoring the past with an eye to the future, will keep the Sitnik Theatre bouncing on July 14th at 8 p.m. The orchestra is under the direction of Cab's grandson, Christopher Calloway Brooks, who continues to dazzle audiences by combining impeccable musicianship with legendary showmanship just the way his grandfather did. CBS's Paul Shaffer cannot say enough good things about the Cab Calloway Orchestra, exclaiming that they "rock the house! They swung hard all night long, they all played their tails off!"

Welcomed back to Centenary after having opened for the Smithereens last season, singer-songwriter Sarah Borges will share her unique sound with Hackettstown once again on July 21st at 8 p.m. Borges' music has been described as "walking that fine line between punk and country."

New Jersey Youth Theatre (NJYT), known for "transforming young talent into greatness," will present Smokey Joe's Café July 26th at 7:30 p.m., July 27th and 28th at 8 p.m., and July 29th at 2 p.m. This fun-loving musical revue features 39 pop, rock, and rhythm and blues hits by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The list of memorable songs goes on for days but includes "On Broadway," "Don Juan," and "Stand By Me."

Beatlemania Now

Beatlemania Now, a live musical tribute to the Beatles, wraps up the summer concert series on Saturday, August 4th at 8 p.m. Beatlemania Now is a blast from the past that recreates the energy of an original Beatles show set against a backdrop of iconic images sure to evoke many memories from the 1960's. The transcendent music of the Beatles is a "must see and hear" for all ages.
