Centenary Performing Arts Guild Will Host the award Winning United States Air Force Band Of Liberty CONTACT: Lea Lid 908-979-0900 x4 The Centenary performing Arts Guild, located on the campus of Centenary College will be hosting The New England Winds in concert, an annex of The United States Air force Band of Liberty from Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The New England Winds is well versed in the traditional woodwind quintet repertoire, with musical selections form the 18th century to the contemporary period. By using the talents of the Band’s staff arranger, the group offers a varied selection of popular, Broadway, patriotic, jazz and folk music. The New England Winds is popular with all ages. Each Concert is a wonderful combination of musical excellence and showmanship. The Quintet consists of musicians Staff Sergeant Amanda Dell, Staff Sergeant Airman Avril Claytor, Senior Airman Craig Matta, Senior Airman Chris Stahl, and Airman First Class Katherine Nettles. All the musicians are masters of their craft with experience in many of our nation’s professional orchestras such as the Florida Symphonic Pops, National Symphony Orchestra, and the Dayton Philharmonic. The Concert will perform on the Campus of Centenary College in the Chapel on November 5, 2005 at 2:30 pm. Centenary College is located on 400 Jefferson St. in Hackettstown, NJ. This event is open to the public and is offered as a special thank-you to our subscribers and sponsors. Tax deductible donations may be made to Centenary Performing Arts Guild.
