Centenary Stage Company is a not-for-profit theatre dedicated to bringing the performing arts to the Warren, Sussex, Morris and Hunterdon County areas. Our actors are a part of the Actors Equity Association, the professional union for actors. We are an associate member of The New Jersey Theatre Alliance.
The Centenary Performing Arts Guild is our producing organization. Not only do we offer the professional plays of our Stage Company but also a wide variety of professional and high quality musical and dance events throughout the year. You will find that all are presented at very affordable prices.

Whatever your performing arts passion, we think we have something very special this season that will appeal to
the most discriminating of patrons.

As we begin our third season in the Lackland Center we asked ourselves one question; how could we make this the best season yet? The answer was to expand the variety of our selections, continue to present world class artists and challenge our discerning audiences (that’s you) to a celebration or music, dance and theatre that crosses all genres and disciplines.
We kick off our season with our curtain up event, ROBERT KLEIN, one of the most respected and venerated comedians working today. Our theatre series will include a revival of Agatha Christie’s classic THE MOUSTETRAP as well as featuring year two of our BLACKBOX SERIES including a return visit by last seasons hit PARALLEL EXIT with a new show ROOM 17B, a Holiday celebration with THE WIZARD OF OZ, Martin McDonagh’s Irish comedy THE CRIPPLE OF INNISHMAN and a world premiere, THE ENGLISH BRIDE.
Our music series will include not only Tony Award winner (A Chorus Line) DONNA McKECHNIE in her one woman show MY MUSICAL COMEDY LIFE, but great musical groups such as THE HOT CLUB OF DETROIT channeling the spirit of Django Rhinhardt (a part of the upcoming JANUARY JAZZ FEST), the wild Celtic musical group LA VENT du NORD, jazz great RIO CLEMENTE, the BAROQUE ORCHESTRA of NJ and many, many more!
Dance is well represented with THE NEW JERSEY BALLET, the CAROLYN DORFMAN DANCE COMPANY as well as NIMBUS DANCE and once again we will celebrate contemporary dance with DANCE WEEK at CSC. We have also added a new program this season, The FAMILY FUN SERIES, consisting of great acts on a Saturday afternoon designed for the whole family. Our performers this year include MICHAEL DuBOIS SOLO CIRCUS, Magician BRAD ROSS and the CATSKILL PUPPET THEATRE with the musical THE LION’S WHISKERS.
If we sound excited here, we are! As I said, there is something for everyone and I have barely scratched the surface. We offer great packages of Flex Passes for any of our events as well as special subscription offers for certain programs.
