| Dreamhouse February 23 - March 10, 2001 Professional Equity Theatre Presentation |
|||||||||||||||
Things are amiss in Bea and Lenny's "Dreamhouse" in the new comedy of the same name, premiering at Centenary Stage Company (CSC) this month. Their barco-lounger has a mind of its own, voices are coming out of the TV, and there are footsteps overhead, as Bea embarks on an unusual plan to set things right again.
Some of her other works for the stage include The Stick Wife, The Sirens, American Siddhartha and Heartland ( a musical which has just been optioned for Broadway, with Susan Schulman directing). Cloud is an alumnus of the renown Iowa Writers Workshop, and a member of The Dramatist's Guild and New Dramatists. DREAMHOUSE will feature Equity actors Shelly Delaney, who CSC audiences will remember as the lead in Educating Rita, Robert Boardman, who portrayed mercenary producer in CSC's Speed The Plow, by David Marne, and Tom Demenkoff will portray Bea's Husband, "Lenny." Demenkoff has performed in professional theatres from New York to California, including The Mark Taper Forum, The Goodspeed Opera house, The American Globe and Royale Theatre (Grease). He has been seen on the television programs Law & Order, Fantasy Island and General Hospital and in several films, including the recent Battlestar Galactica.
