Committed to building cultural bridges through the performance of Spanish and Latin American culture, the dazzling artistry of Latin Fiesta lends itself to exciting and versatile programming. The 10-member ensemble, made up of piano, violin, vocals, Latin percussion, cuatro/flute, bass, and a flamenco dancer offer a performance that shifts from a hot salsa tune, to a Latin version of a Baroque Concerto Grosso, ending with an Afro-Cuban conga line. The Latin fiesta ensemble has won wide acclaim as a pioneer in the presentation of crossover concerts. The ensemble is led by award winning performers Maria Del Pico Taylor, Cuban born pianist and Raymond Taylor, English born violinist. The composition of the group consists of Maria-piano, Raymond-violin, Vania Taylor-lead vocalist, Judy Hurbon-back up vocalist, Nicolas Real-flute, back up vocals and Venezuelan Cuatro, Ron Howerton, Tom Lowery and Cuco Aponte on Latin percussion, Steve Beskrone-bass and Liliana Ruiz Davis-Latin/Flamenco dancer.
